Adopt a Project at Camp Hanover…smaller, more manageable jobs that can be done in a short amount of time or have a defined ending.
In no particular order of priority. Adopting group could fund the project and do the work; do the work only; fund the project only.
- Rout a new welcome sign
- Build equipment storage cabinets
- Re-stain backstop
- Replace and stain facia boards at Wise Lodge and Director’s home
- Replace screens at Wise Lodge
- Clear and rebuild Adventure Camp platform(s)
- Clear tree from lake campfire circle COMPLETED
- Build in beds in longhouses 8 and 5 and 9B
- Reposition built-in beds in campsite A and add a bed
- Re-deck portions of docks
- Re-build canoe racks
- Clear Prayer Trail
- Dismantle Winger pool roof structure
- Install end windows in longhouses
- Paint bathrooms in cabins
- Re-do bathrooms: Winger, Koinonia
- Install new signs
- Wash windows
- Trim road side from entrance to field
- Install fans on porches at Wise and Knoxwood
- Recycle work at polebarn
- Grade path to Senior Vesper dell
- Finish replacing benches at Winger Vesper Dell
- Clear area between Wise and lake so that the lake is visible from Wise
- Adventure Camp bath upgrade
- Tile showers of Winger bathroom
- Tile floors of Kirkwood IV
- Move old hogans out of campsites 5 & 7 (possibly use one as floor for storage shed at high ropes course)
- Build decks for longhouses
- Install railings for longhouse steps where needed and dictated by code
- Purchase new fireplace settings
- Purchase new set of walkie-talkies
- Build a storage shed for high ropes equipment
- Build a storage shed to replace old tool shed
- Rake leaves
- Re-do bathrooms at Senior Pool
- Dismantle unused section of climbing wall
- Build sides for haywagon

Want to make an impact in the lives of thousands of adults, children, and youth? Want to do more than simply write a check? You group can adopt a building at camp. When you adopt a building you help to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of a camp structure. Together we can keep camp hospitable and welcoming for all those camping and retreating in this sacred place apart. Participate on one of two levels:
