Each year, Camp Hanover hosts Hanover Christmas, our beloved live nativity. Share the magic of Christmas as guests walk through a candle-lit forest to experience the journey to Bethlehem. The 2025 event is December 12 and 13 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Volunteers make the Christmas magic happen! We need help decorating and setting up in the weeks leading up to the event.

By volunteering for Hanover Christmas, you help our community witness the Christmas story in a unique and spiritual way. There are jobs appropriate for multiple abilities. Families with elementary to middle school-aged children will find the decorating party a better fit than day-of volunteering. Groups of volunteers also are welcome, so bring your youth group or Sunday school class!

Decorating Volunteers

Kick off your Christmas season by decorating Camp! Join us to decorate Wise Lodge and Granny’s house. Plus hang lights on all the buildings to bring the Christmas magic together! This is a fun filled time for individuals, groups, and families.

Event Volunteers

Make things run smoothly by lending a hand. Volunteer roles include final event set up, golf cart drivers, kitchen assistants, greeters, and parking attendants.
