On March 10, a group of hardy volunteers branched out of their typical activities by spending some time in Camp Hanover’s garden. Their mission was sprucing it up for spring. Armed with gloves, brushes, and clippers, they tended to the tasks set before them:

  • Staining the new raised planting beds
  • Staining the new fence
  • Trimming the berry brambles

We can use some more volunteer gardeners in the coming months. Still on our to-do list: spreading mulch, installing the raised beds, filling the beds, and planting the seedlings. If you have some time to give, please let us know! Send an email to Laura

Here’s some images of the team in action.

We are so grateful for your hard work!

What are canoes doing in a post about the garden?

You’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
