Camp Hanover needs your help on September 11 and 12, 2026. In just three hours (or more, if you’d like!), you can give a part of Camp Hanover a freshening up after a busy summer camp season. Both our outdoor spaces and indoor places need some love. We also have some office support opportunities if that is more your style.
Time Commitment: Just Three Hours!
Sign up for a shift on Friday, September 11, or Saturday, September 12. The morning shift is 9 AM to noon and the afternoon shift is 1 to 4:30 PM. If you wish to volunteer, but are not available for the complete shift, just let us know.
Volunteer Options
- Office Support – Stuff envelopes, cut postcards, etc
- Garden – Weed garden beds, plant fruit trees and bushes, place weed barrier, spread mulch
- Landscaping – Trim bushes and shrubs behind Wise Lodge
- Painting – Paint longhouse interiors and soccer goal posts
- Cleaning – Power wash greenhouse, power wash water storage tank and propane tanks (exteriors)
- Path Maintenance – Grade Newell Cabin pathway and refurbish/repair wheelchair-accessible path to lake
You may wish to bring your own gardening gloves, work gloves, and gardening tools if you have them.
