Youth Retreat

Youth ministry leaders, bring your middle and high schoolers to Camp Hanover for an overnight retreat.

Interconnected Everywhere

Join us as we consider how to think global and act local to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God as we are called to do in Micah 6:8. We’ll think about the interconnectedness of our world and how our faith can inspire all we do in it.

Youth will grow their faith through keynote presentations, small group discussion, and other activities.

This event is for youth groups of all sizes. You bring the youth and adult advisors; we’ll cover the program and fun. Churches should provide at least one chaperone of each gender of youth they are bringing. Youth ministry leader or church administer will register the group; only one person per church needs to register.

Additional Information

How do I register? One adult from each church should register the group. Payment is due when your group checks in for the event. For more information about billing and cancellation, see the leader packet.

What leadership does my church provide? Each church provides adult leadership to supervise their youth while at camp, with a recommended ratio of at least one advisor for every 6 youth. There also must be at least one same gender advisor for male and female participants.

What meals are included? Lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are included. Enjoy delicious, nutritious food served family-style, the perfect setting for conversation, laughter, and connection. Please let us know about special dietary needs (allergies, vegetarian, etc.), by submitting a dietary needs form two weeks in advance.

Where will our group sleep? Your registration includes lodging in our longhouses. Longhouses sleep 8 people and have air conditioning and heat for year-round use. Guests use a nearby bathhouse. Participants from more than one church may be housed in the same space, depending on enrollment. Adult advisors will stay in the same cabin as their youth. Participants provide their own bed and bath linens.  See photos of our lodging.
