How To Make A #GreatCampGive Post

Thanks for helping spread the word about the #GreatCampGive!

The #GreatCampGive is on October 1st. This day becomes a success when folks like you, who know how important the camp experience is, invite other folks to support Camp Hanover and join the celebration. Here’s how to help.

1. Make a Post Before October 1
Between now and Sept. 30, post on your favorite social media about how Camp Hanover has shaped you (or someone you love). Share your camp story or a favorite camp memory and invite friends to support Camp Hanover with a donation during the #GreatCampGive.

Your post will be seen by more people if you include photos of you or of camp times. Better yet, record a video. It doesn’t have to be fancy or polished. Just genuine and heartfelt. There’s an example post using a photo below these instructions. Here’s a link to an example that uses a video.

2. Include Key Info
Make sure all of the following info is in your post:
  • This hashtag: #GreatCampGive
  • These words: “Please join me in supporting Camp Hanover on Wednesday, October 1”
  • This link: www.greatcampgive.org
It will also help to make the post public and shareable so Camp Hanover’s social media account can see it even if we’re not following you. already.

3. Tag Your Friends
Please tag at least 8 people who would be interested in hearing your story, may have a desire to support camp ministry, or have a connection to Camp Hanover.

That’s all there is to it. Once you’ve made your post, please send us a quick message and let us know where you posted so I can go give your post a like and a share. Thank you so much for helping out with this effort!
